CUSTOM PAINTING: Simon was kind enough to commission me. He provided 2 different reference photos of his family but ultimately left it up to me. He wanted it to be a surprise so never saw this until the day he picked it up. As you can see on his face, he was extremely excited. Commissions? I am absolutely open for customized artworks. Presently I am about 2 months out with commissions meaning I could probably have most works done in 2 months from the deposit.
You can be as involved as you like or as remotely invested in the process as you are comfortable. Here’s my general process for creating a piece or several pieces for a customer (commission). How long does it take? Generally my pieces come together over 1-2 weeks then require dry time and a final protective coat.
How to get started…
We begin with a quick one on one consultation via e-mail or in person to discuss your needs (approximately 15 minutes). Next we discuss final price, 50% deposit and the expected date of delivery (as quick as 14 days depending on your geographical location). Next you sign the agreement and I get started creating your commissioned work of art. Along the way, I will send you at least 5 images of the progress (either video and/or still images). Final payment is due 2 days prior to art delivery/shipping.
